MINUTES
OF CASRA MEETING
April 5, 2004 - UIL Building

18:35 meeting is called to order by
President Mike Day

Introduction of Guests - no guests were
present
-
Minutes from the previous meeting were
read and approved without change.<

Reports:
-
President - Mike Day reported that
several CASRA members attended and
passed the recent entry level assessor's
clinic.
-
Webmaster - Chris reported that
there is a section of the web site
under development that will be "for
members only". Probably the
Good Call newsletter will be posted
there, as well as other useful information.
He also reported that the new T-shirts
are in and available for pick up.
There are a few extras available
to anyone who did not order one.

Business:

Michelle M. reported that a gentleman
by the name of Bob Wertz is available
for a clinic in Austin. The cost
would be about $500 to $600 for
travel and living expenses to bring
him to Austin. The suggestion was
made that such a clinic would be
free to CASRA members, with a nominal
($5) charge to non members. The
clinic would most likely be in the
August-September 2004 time period.
It would last approximately 4 hours
and would count toward re-certification.
A motion was made seconded and passed
to bring Bob Wertz to Austin.

Announcements:

Regionals - Michelle M. informed
the members that the dates of the
regional playoff tournament in Austin
is 24 through 30 June. Visit www.2004southernregionals.com.
Also volunteers are needed for all
sorts of activities. A volunteer
form can be found on the STSR website.

Two separate situations were discussed,
one by Michelle M and one by Nick
Moya. There was a lot of participation
and interaction.
