Assessments play an important role in referee development.Developmental assessments are essential tools for referees to utilize to improve their officiating skills and correct bad habits they may not even be aware of. Formal assessments are required for grade 7 and higher retention, and are also required for grade advancement beyond grade 8. We highly recommend that you schedule at least two developmental assessments each year.
